Working closely with the project coordinator, we created these banners and teardrop flags to help promote and improve understanding of Sarasota County's Prescribed Burn Department. The graphic transforms from flame yellow to a “new growth” green, to visually convey how prescribed burns are necessary for the creation of new life in Florida’s wildlands. We also created a handheld fan (see below) that doubles as an informative brochure, something that people may keep longer—and find more interesting and usable—than just another piece of paper.
Sarasota County, Florida, was proud to host the United Nations' World Environment Day 2014. And I was proud to work as both designer and marketing coordinator on this project to create the necessary marketing materials. For the press conference (above), we created a banner from artwork supplied by the United Nations Environment Programme. I also wrote the marketing copy for our Facebook page and scheduled all of the posts through Hootsuite (see below), sticking closely to UNEP's brand guidelines.

We created a local events guide so residents of Sarasota County could join in the fun! Keeping the environment in mind, we chose not to print, instead publishing it online only.

A county-wide employee photo competition gave us ample and beautiful art for our next year's calendar.
The employees loved it so much, we did it again the following year.
